The Symposium will be a bilingual event (French and English). It is jointly organised by RCN Ghana, UNICEF, West Africa Water Initiative (WAWI), WaterAid, and IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre, and supported by the Water and Sanitation Collaborative Council, as part of a longer term regional sharing and learning process.

Everyone involved in sanitation or hygiene activities in West Africa is invited to share stories, experiences, or photos on sanitation and hygiene with other sector professionals during the Regional West Africa Sanitation and Hygiene Symposium to be held in Accra, Ghana, from 3 – 5 November 2009.

The symposium will be about identifying and learning from good practices on sanitation and hygiene. It will build on the problems, solutions and experiences identified by a wide group of stakeholders.
